About Delphi

Hi, I'm Marilyn, and I've called London home for over 15 years. In that time I've lived in more than 20 houseshares - some absolutely brilliant, filled with laughter and friendships that still light up my life. And some that were, honestly, a bit of a nightmare. There were times I dreaded coming home. Times I felt unsafe in my own house. Times I wished there was somewhere I could find not just a room, but the right people to share it with.

After one too many bad experiences, I stopped waiting for someone else to fix it and built the thing I wished had existed. That's how Delphi was born.

What Delphi is

Delphi is London's first women-only flatshare platform - a place where women can list rooms, find rooms, and connect with potential flatmates in a safe, verified, female-only environment. Every member is a woman. Every listing is posted by a woman, for women. That single fact changes everything about how the platform feels.

But Delphi is more than a listings site. The thing I'm most proud of is the community we've built - women looking out for each other, sharing advice, attending events, and in more than a few cases, becoming genuine friends. Every part of Delphi is designed with that community in mind - from the verified women-only member base, to the events where members meet in person, to the listings themselves, which are posted by real women with real opinions about where they live and who they want to live with. That community is what makes Delphi different from every other flatshare platform out there.

Who Delphi is for

Our members are women at all stages of life - from recent graduates landing their first London flat, to professionals looking for a change of scene, to women who've been in the city for years and simply want a better flatshare experience. Some are new to London and looking for a flatshare that feels safe and welcoming from day one. Others are planning a move and want to find their footing before they arrive - browsing neighbourhoods, getting a feel for prices, and connecting with potential flatmates before they've even packed a box.

What we believe

We believe women deserve better than the standard flatshare experience. Better than scrolling through generic listings, messaging strangers with no context, and crossing your fingers that it'll work out. Better than feeling like a transaction in someone else's property portfolio.

Finding the right flatshare should feel exciting, not stressful. The people you live with should add to your life, not drain it. And your home - however temporary - should be somewhere you actually want to come back to at the end of the day.

That's what we're building here. A community where women can find not just a place to live, but somewhere to truly belong.
